Defining the “Deep State”
Labeling any large group with a single term averages out the best and worst aspects of that term. For Americans to understand what stands against us, we must first be able to define it and its parts.
Money, war, religion, markets, geopolitics, social dynamics, the human condition, and societal implications. As everyone with a platform spends their time hyperfocused on single issues that draw you in, this is my attempt to step back to show the larger picture (and potential implications or concerns).
The ever-changing media cycle seems built to give us the attention spans of fruit flies - but there are issues that we should take the time to focus on and understand.
These are those issues.

Introduction: What is the Deep State? Why should we care?
As the “Era of the Great Pretending” finally comes to a close, a greater population of the Western world is beginning to fully understand what “the conspiracy theorists” have been trying to warn them about for quite some time.
Elected “leaders” across the Western world are currently refusing to step down, cede power, or seat new governments who win elections in nations like France, Germany, and Georgia.
Others outright cancel democratic elections, like Ukraine and Romania.
All, of course, in the name of “protecting our sacred democracy.”
These eye-opening experiences are only recognized as such because they come on the heels of decades of the Western world watching the elected leaders of their “democracies” outright refuse to enact, follow, or institute policies and/or actions that follow the will of the populace, and the consent of the governed.
Brexit in the UK, in which the UK populace voted to leave the EU, which the UK politicians brought back up for a vote multiple times “just to make sure.” Public polling showed that the people of the UK voted for Brexit largely because they didn’t want to follow the EU policy of unfettered and limitless immigration from the global south.
So despite being proven in several votes that the British people really wanted to Brexit, the “democratic process” politicians there decided to open up the floodgates of the UK to EU-style immigration anyway.
How democratic of them.
On the day that I’m writing this, the President of South Korea has been officially impeached after enacting martial law. The wise watchers of geopolitical events understand the correlation between his impeachment, his enacting of (very brief) martial law in that nation, and a certain recent visit to his nation by both Ukrainian and Biden-Harris administration officials.
You see, over 80% of the South Korean populace was totally opposed to the nation sending any weapons to Ukraine. As a major manufacturing hub that can produce military weaponry, the EU and US (who have fallen far behind their own weapons and arms manufacturing quotas) really, really wanted S. Korea to get in the game.
That government had been previously caught using a sleight of hand to fool its people to that end. They publicly said that weapons would be sent to the US, merely to refill the arms stores that we were sending to UKR.
When it was found that the government lied and the weapons had instead gone directly to Ukraine, the people were not happy.
A little bit of martial law and shutting down non-state friendly media shortly after meeting with delegations from Ukraine and the US, and “the game” they were trying to play was easy enough for the wise among us to figure out.
Again, yet another “democratic” government deciding that neither the consent of the governed nor the will of their constituents mattered.
Why?
Why would the people who rush to any news camera or interview they can find to wail about “protecting democracy” do so many things that go against the very nature of democracy?
There are several competing narratives for that answer, and while each is accurate, when taken separately they also “miss the mark” of a fulsome explanation.
To begin with, the “Deep State” is not one single entity. There is no single Mount Doom with a single Dr. Evil who is controlling every single move and aspect of it.
The faces and names that you know and equate with what you believe to be the Deep State are only errand boys at the end of the day. They have some say in things, for sure, but they take orders and can be overruled despite their money, positions, and public faces.
The general public (those who have been enlightened/awakened already) knows some of the Deep State’s “greatest hits” from the past decade (or several decades), but for every public spectacle that we know about, there are thousands that most - even those enlightened to the dark arts of the Deep State - have never heard of.
As is its nature. Gag orders approved by DC or SDNY judges while they destroy your life and reputation are certainly a thing.
Some of these were certainly large, globally-choreographed events, such as the Russian Collusion Hoax, Covid/lockdowns/Build Back Better, the wholesale pilfering of Russia’s resources & assets after the fall of the Soviet Union (in which Harvard alumni created the Oligarch class that the Western press loves to wail about now), and many others.
*As always, that last statement will include “receipts” for you to have a look at when we get to the section that dives more deeply into it.
Others were done at the behest of single or a small group of nefarious USGOV officials, either elected or unelected, focusing on a single industry, entrepreneur, business leader, or private citizen(s) who they wanted to destroy or outright rob via government pressure for means of political power, financial largesse, payback, or terrorism to prevent others from daring to speak their minds or refuse their demands.
Marc Andreesen and his recent interview with Joe Rogan discussing Elizabeth Warren’s war path of debanking and destroying the businesses within the crypto industry and its founders are a great example.
Obama’s scheme of announcing potential regulations against a specific industry, which would crater that industry's valuations, after which Obama’s cronies & donors would buy up the industry at fire sale prices, after which Obama would announce he’d changed his mind about regulations, is yet another example.
The Los Angeles FBI office recently straight up committing (alleged) bank robbery of safe deposit vaults is another good example of this, on a much smaller and more local level.
This example also helps to highlight the fact that, while it may not have come as an order from Washington to do this, it was bureaucrats or agents using the protection of the USGOV to wreak chaos on private citizens with zero worry of retribution or blowback onto them.
By using the singular term of the “Deep State” or “entrenched bureaucracy” or “unelected officials” or “intel agencies,” we lose sight of the many component parts of a USGOV that has gone way, way, way off the rails at nearly every level.
As the “law of averages” applies this term to the largest employer of people in the world’s history, it also confuses the truly nefarious & terrible people involved with Deep State actions and those at the bottom who are either stupid/propagandized enough to believe they are doing the right thing, or those “strivers” willing to do anything the get their own power/promotions/fortune/fame.
This post is not meant to dig into every single action of the Deep State throughout its history, or even any one of its nefarious actions in great detail.
There are plenty of books, interviews, podcasts, and even movies (like The Plot Against the President (The attempted Trump coup) , The Forecaster (framing Martin Armstrong) , The Fighter Series (The Nixon Coup) , and JFK) that do that already.
Rather, this post will be focusing on an all important first step in preparing to fight against any enemy force: to help you accurately understand, identify, and name it and its component parts.
So let’s get into the different troops and unit formations within what we know as the Deep State.
The Useful Idiots/Activists
At the first and lowest level of the Deep State, in all of its component parts, we have the Useful Idiot and Activist class. These are the “true blue believers,” the zealots, and the few people left upon whom the propaganda still works.
I know, I know, it’s nuts to believe that last part. But there really are some people who still don’t see the propaganda for what it is.
As a result, many of these are single issue-driven zealots who are willing to build an entire career based on the green ideology, abortion on demand for all, transing kids, unlimited immigration, all Republicans/Trump are evil, or [insert progressive cause du jour here].
While there are plenty of Republicans who make up the Deep State (GOPe, RINOs, Uniparty, or whatever name you prefer), many of them don’t begin their tenure in this class - they are usually corrupted or controlled later.
We will get to them in a bit.
We’ve been able to learn a lot about this pathway into the progressive wing of the Deep State machinery recently as many who were fully ensconced into the career trajectory had their own awakenings and realized that they were being fed into a machine that they had not signed up to be a part of.
Kudos to them, truly.
Some joined Brandon Strakka and his Walkaway Movement. Others began to realize that Nancy Pelosi somehow being the best financial trader who has ever walked the earth didn’t really align with the public image that she’d presented of herself or progressive values.
The lawfare, blatant propaganda, and encode/decode dilemma of things that the leftist movement said about evil white men to only turn around and nominate an old white man to be POTUS (Biden) jarred others out of their stupor.
The Walkaway Movement famously includes tens of thousands of videos from former Dems who post their own videos of why they “walked away” from the Democrats.
During this campaign cycle specifically (2024), a woman went especially viral after posting her own video describing a life spent fundraising and working for Democrat and left-leaning politics only to be jarred into reality on the floor of the DNC convention.
If both sides make up the Uniparty and Deep State, why am I focusing so much on Democrats and left-leaning youth?
As we will get into, the Deep State is not only housed within DC. There are many component parts that are composed of elements included in just about every facet of life (finance, social media, activism, media, corporations, etc).
The NGOs are a substantial element of this complex for many reasons, as we’ll get into, and they also often serve as a “feeder” for these young zealots to find their way into staffing positions, sinecures, think tanks, and/or government offices/positions.
This is not resigned to DC, and often happens in very red states across the country. This is a major issue in Texas, Oklahoma, Montanna, and other places that conservatives don’t even think about - which is why it's such a serious issue.
The general populace - especially conservatives - really only pay attention to or engage in politics when there is a Presidential campaign to focus on. This is why these groups are able to saturate local offices, positions, and officials’ staffs with hyper-partisans, even in deep red states, because nobody is paying attention or engaged enough to vote against them.
As a great example of this political career trajectory, there is a person in the Austin City Clerk position whose previous work includes Planned Parenthood Votes. Conservatives would look at this and think that it doesn’t matter much because it’s Austin and it’s not a “top tier” position - but it’s important.
She sends out official letters with the letterhead of Ken Paxton’s office. She sits at the crux of a significant amount of what does and does not get done or sent out, in the capital city of Texas. She works along with the city attorney.
And yet conservatives in Texas would largely ignore such a position or election totally. Because they really only focus on what the news tells them to focus on, which are only the big and glamorous positions, if they focus on politics at all.
Speaking of the NGO complex, this is precisely how George Soros and his orgs were able to get extremely progressive district attorneys, sheriffs, and other positions elected across the country.
People weren’t paying attention, and the “conservative” media never reported on it until it was too late. It would not have been hard for them to do so, given that funding for any political office requires financial disclosures.
Ask yourself why Fox News doesn’t bother looking into or reporting where Soros orgs place their political funding until after elections when it’s too late to do anything about it.
The Street Orcs (Direct Aktion)
Another wing of the political activists, useful idiots, NGO complex, and overall Deep State are what those of us who track these things call the “street orcs.”
These can also take many forms, depending on if the Deep State needs street orcs and muscle to bring their political violence for foreign policy or domestic ends.
On the day that I’m writing this, the French-born and former French government member who is (for the moment) President of the nation of Georgia lost the first round of that nation’s elections a week ago, and is expected to lose the next round of elections taking place at the moment.
After she lost the first round, she made a public pronouncement that she wouldn't step down from office “for the sake of democracy,” called for protests - and surprise surprise, a Color Revolution just happened to pop up via hordes of imported professional agitators shortly thereafter.
*Update: She has now lost the second round of voting, and has again said that she will not be leaving.
US Senator Chuck Schumer publicly called for regime change in Israel and for Netanyahu to be taken out of office when that nation’s IDF began to move into parts of Gaza that the UN and other elements of the Deep State did not want anyone looking at.
A very large number of weapons caches were found in and around UNRWA facilities, as were hostages held by the terror group Hamas, which is probably why they didn’t want anyone looking there.
Sure enough, the day after Chuck made his public statement, hundreds of thousands of protestors “magically appeared” in the streets of Tel Aviv.
If one has a working memory, one may also remember that Chuck had previously made similar threats toward SCOTUS Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh after the Dobbs decision was “leaked” to the press before it was officially issued by SCOTUS.
Funny how that “leak investigation” never netted any findings, and Chuck never faced any media scrutiny or accountability in any form for his threats that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh would “reap the whirlwind.”
Again, going into the Wayback machine, one may remember that an armed loony was caught going along his way to kill Kavanaugh after Chuck made those comments.
But we aren’t supposed to remember or talk about that.
If one has been following the previous Shitshow Macro posts & podcasts like Masks Off part 1, Masks Off part 3: Castles Built on Bullshit, or Masks off part 3.5: Identifying the Darkness, one might remember certain elements like JD Cashless reporting on Robert Mueller’s Rightwing Terror Factory that exposes how the FBI funded and utilized the Neo Nazi movement in the US for their own (anti-conservative smear job) political agenda.
You may also remember our discussion of the Neo Nazi “Boneface” who started to pop up at Ron Desantis primary campaign events until people figured out who he was, and who he was (really) working for.
One may also remember that ANTIFA, which started in Germany under Hitler’s Nationalsozialistische deutsche Arbeiterpartei and to this day uses a flag that is extremely similar to their original, was exported to the US from Germany after the 08-09 Great Financial Crisis led to the Occupy Wall Street movement.
People who were present in Zuccotti Park have revealed that the entire Occupy movement took a radical shift from anti-banker sentiment to Race and Class Marxism only after the professional agitators arrived and began to hijack the movement.
Across the entirety of the US, videos were posted (but quickly banned or removed from social media) showing black mask-clad Black Bloc ANTIFA hooligans and professional agitators at the beginning scenes of nearly every “Summer of Love” (2020) riot in the wake of George Floyd’s death and the media’s push to turn it into a domestic Color Revolution.
Identified members of specific NGOs were caught on camera delivering van loads of signs, weapons, and other gear to rioters during the 2020 riots, but nothing ever happened to them and nobody with the power to do so was even interested in doing anything about it.
Pallets of bricks magically appeared in major metro areas the night before destructive riots took place, and we were just not supposed to ask any questions about it.
(Now former) FBI Director Christopher Wray testified at multiple hearings that “ANTIFA is just an idea” rather than an organized group, which was a blatant obfuscation at best.
The group has training manuals, publicly professed members, flags, a uniform, local groups, online chat groups & forums, local chapter websites, TTPs, and logistical systems in place to ensure their rioters have what they need, when it is needed.
You can buy ANTIFA flags and shirts on Etsy, for goodness sake.
But again, we’re supposed to believe Chris Wray that all of the above is simply an idea. An idea that has domestic terror training manuals, chat forums to organize their direct aktion with specific methodology to filter out and identify interlocutors, and TTPs for conducting their riots & attacks.
Mmmmmkay.
To be perfectly clear, the USGOV has a system that is called FinCEN, which gives terminal users the ability to track every single penny that is moved, deposited, withdrawn, transferred, or otherwise used anywhere into, out of, or within the United States.
An operator at a FinCEN terminal could have told us very quickly exactly who paid for those pallets of bricks, booked those vans, funds the professional agitators who are flown & bussed in for riots, and otherwise.
They choose not to, because none of it is organic. They are the Deep State street orcs, the hired muscle used when they need to institute fear into the populace just like Hitler’s Brown Shirts and Mussolini’s Black Shirts.
When coupled in with the first group (Useful Idiots/Activists), many within the group don’t even know where their orders, funding, and “top cover” that keeps them out of jail (and in many cases gets them payouts from cops when they do get arrested, as after they terrorized DC during the Trump 2017 inauguration) really comes from.
Nor do they care.
We have USGOV-run and protected ANTIFA (top-down and through embedded assets), Patriot Front, Neo Nazis, and other street muscle to enact chaos or spread fear and/or false media narratives when needed on the domestic front.
Often funded and organized through the same NGOs but using their foreign offices, we have “rent-a-riots” that are used by the US State Department to enact Color Revolutions when needed abroad.
This was how we got the 2014 “Maidan Coup” in Ukraine, the “Arab Spring” uprising in the Middle East, Schumer’s “protestors” in Tel Aviv, and the current professional agitators in the European nation of Georgia.
The Strivers
Moving away from the smelly activists and trust fund zealots, we have The Strivers. Strivers are not unique to the Deep State, and they exist in nearly every element of society. They aren’t bad by nature, either, but they are often extremely malleable based on their desire for success, fortune, and/or fame.
Strivers are non-partisan or not politically active more often than not, as they don’t have time to focus on politics, unless they are specifically Strivers within the political realm. I can tell you this firsthand, because I was a Striver for much of my post-Army career.
Vivek Ramaswamy caught a lot of heat in his run for the Presidential primaries because his company had done business within the pharmaceutical industry. His own book that was written long before that primary discussed at great length how he had been wholly focused on his business and success when the woke craziness began to take hold of everything, which caught him totally off guard.
As a Striver, he hadn’t been spending much time trawling the online forums about the dangers of Big Pharma. He hadn’t been paying attention to Brett Weinstein and others who were just starting to sound the alarm about the wholesale takeover of higher education and academia by unrepentant Marxists.
To his credit, hardly anyone was at that time.
As a young Striver (and an exceptionally successful one at that), all of his focus had been on his business and trajectory of success. When I worked in one of the top hospital systems in the country and then the largest marketing firm in the world, I paid attention to what was going on in the world, but wasn’t politically active in any direct way - because there wasn’t time for it.
I tried to stay plugged in, but most of my day was focused on work, family, and finding the next step up in my career. The books that I wrote during that time were my only real thing that could be deemed to have a political bent based on their messages, but the political aspect wasn’t the primary driver of writing the books.
Strivers aren’t bad or nefarious by nature. They aren't the brainwashed zealots or Useful Idiots of the first class, either - but their focus on careers and success make them susceptible to nefarious actors, especially if they don’t have a strong moral compass or moral code.
Strivers can be “groomed” by nefarious actors at any level of their career once they have been identified as such.
Much like gangs or pedophiles seek out people who either have a broken home life or are in search of some type of strong leadership figure, nefarious actors in the government, business, and NGO worlds will seek out these Strivers to use their desire for success to their own advantage.
Mike Cernovich did a round table interview with Tim Pool and Luke Rudkowski in which Cerno went into some detail about how Jeff Epstein would “groom” people for his own needs. We will get into Epstein a bit more in the Intel Agencies section, but this element of his operation is better suited to discuss here.
Not everyone who was around Epstein visited the island, nor were they all involved in the most disgusting of his blackmail activities - although many of them were.
Epstein didn’t only target billionaires and dignitaries, but also scientists and other types of braniacs for some other activities that most still don’t really understand (the stuff he was doing with human genome research is pretty creepy if you understand it).
Here’s that interview mentioned above. The section on grooming starts at 10:30, and unfortunately I can’t find the entire interview online anymore - it really was a great watch in its entirety. There will be other clips from it in other sections of this post:
I have a friend who has asked me more than a few times if any of my old friends from the Special Operations community has ever done any nefarious deeds for the government. His own moral framing makes it difficult for him to understand how human beings could ever be convinced to do some of the disgusting things that we know have been done at the behest of government actors.
It’s easy to allow yourself to fall prey to hyperbolic statements and believe that any aspect of the Deep State or anyone who does their dirty deeds is evil, but that’s not accurate.
To actually understand how people are led to do some despicable things, one must understand several different aspects of human behavior, the real world, and how information silos work in government, business, the military, and intelligence.
Even if you have zero experience in the world of intelligence and security clearances, you are probably familiar with the “need to know” basis that lies behind the TS-SCI levels of information. You can have a Top Secret clearance but still not be approved to learn about various government programs, because you aren’t “read on” to that program.
Essentially, despite your clearance, you don’t have a “need to know” about that particular program. The clearance only allows you to be “read on” to the program if it is deemed by program members/managers that you should be.
That provides a very simple way to control every aspect of information that an individual or group is given to form their understanding about a subject at hand.
Even outside of the military, intel, and government worlds, it’s an incredibly simple tool of behavioral manipulation to take a Striver and tell them they are getting “special access” to information that others “aren’t worthy of.”
Because they are a Striver, this seems like a step-up and potential opportunity for them. They are being brought into the “cool kids club” or “circle of trust.”
It would not be a difficult task to convince this Striver, who thinks they are being brought “into the fold” that the public is misinformed about a certain subject, and the “real deal” is that [insert desired disinformation].
This can reframe their own picture of the world, or right vs wrong. The Striver mentality and opportunity-seeking behavior may make them far more malleable towards wanting to believe what they are being told.
As an example for the non-government side of this, a middle manager or even young analyst may be willing to “leak” private customer information to the media, or spread disinformation about a competitor to the media, or alter documents, in order to achieve something that they have been told is necessary, either morally or for their own career trajectory.
Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith was willing to alter an email from the CIA to the FBI stating that Dr. Carter Page had been a CIA asset who had helped the agency catch Russian spies in NYC.
That altered email was used to submit false statements to the FISA court so the FBI could spy on the Trump campaign & presidency, and the rest is history.
Clinesmith was not an especially senior member of the FBI, and he was the only one who was actually charged with a crime rather than just fired. I’m not saying this is evidence that he was merely a Striver rather than something higher up in the food chain, but it could certainly be seen that way by an outside observer.
Clinesmith already has his license to practice law back, by the way. His seniors who were fired but never arrested (Strozck and Page) were just awarded large payouts with your taxpayer dollars, which is certainly an interesting aspect of the whole ordeal in question.
Long story short, Strivers aren’t the young & idealistic zealots in most cases, at least not for political ends. They are typically the “do anything to get ahead” crowd, which is great when their energy to succeed can be channeled towards legitimate business ends.
If they don’t have a strong moral code or compass and are utilized by superiors or others for nefarious purposes, they may be convinced to do some despicable things. They are also typically the only ones to face any actual accountability (the sacrificial lambs) if those nefarious ends are brought to light.
Because of their Striver desires, they may also be susceptible to disinformation schemes designed to make them believe that the nefarious actions they are tasked to do are actually “for the greater good” or aligned with some dynamic that the general public doesn't know about.
The Lifers
The Lifers are the first section in which some differentiation is needed. While similar to the Institutionalists, they are different and often far lower level than the latter category (which we will get into below).
Understanding the Lifer category also requires one to consider the “human condition” aspect of government employees. As much as we all want to see DOGE cut a massive amount of spending from the USGOV, and much of that will fall to GOV employees who don’t add any net value to the entity as a whole or are not a wise use of our taxpayer dollars, they certainly don’t see it that way.
However, if one wants to truly understand the situation rather than fall back on hyperbolic (and not entirely accurate) terms or beliefs, one must be able to see both sides of an issue and position.
Let’s be perfectly clear before going through the points below, because some may take this explanation far out of context to pretend that I’m “on the side” of the Lifers. As I’ve said before, I’m more of an originalist who feels that the USGOV should be incredibly small with only rare abilities to affect the life of the average American citizen.
That means it should be a far, far smaller entity than it currently is, with most functions that affect our lives directly in the hands of the local and state governments. But understanding the viewpoints of the Lifers necessitates seeing from their perspective, not mine or yours.
From their perspective, a USGOV job is great if you can get it. Pensions no longer exist within the private sector, but they are a mainstay within the public (USGOV) sector. They have unions and their own USGOV sector forms of job protections, and we are likely to see much gnashing of teeth over those as Trump v2.0 takes office.
Lifers may have been Strivers at some point, but these aren’t the ones who actually made it to the top and whose entire platform and fortune has been built on government “service.” These aren’t the ones who leave the DOJ to take white shoe law firm jobs in DC in the private sector, or fired former intel officers and agents who get book deals or network news pundit slots.
These are the people who are somewhere in that 10-15 years of USGOV employment range, in too deep to move to another sector, yet within spitting distance of that pension so they are “locked in.”
Understanding the human condition dynamic, it’s very understandable the predicament these people are in.
If they went to college before government work, they are probably in their mid-to-late 30s or 40s. They may be married with kids, or divorced with child support, a mortgage (or mortgages in the latter situation), and perhaps looking at paying college tuition in the near future for their kids, if they aren’t already.
Whether they work in DC or in some other aspect of the USGOV around the country, they are likely to work in or spend time in the capital city.
In whatever state that may be, the capital city is typically more expensive than the rest of the state. In certain positions, they may have to hobnob with lobbyists or see elected officials reaping the benefits of the outright and plain-sight bribery that is our lobbying-driven USGOV.
If they commute to their jobs, they are likely to live in an area, if they are suburban, that is heavily infused with other USGOV workers. If you know anything about the areas that surround DC, you know that those who reap those lobbying bribes and government largesse live in areas closer to the city (that are extremely expensive), but your averager Lifer employee can’t afford it.
If they max out their credit on all fronts a la “keeping up with the Joneses,” that previous point about them needing to keep their jobs no matter how much they like/dislike it becomes more important to them.
I would reckon that if one were able to pull apart many of those in DC who voted for Harris in 2024 and ask them specific questions individually and not in a group setting, one may find that more of those votes were out of self perseverance rather than an alignment with her policies (or lack thereof) or politics.
I know, we all know that DC is the “hive of scum and villainy” like the one from the Star Wars bar scene. Again, trying to paint fine details with a wide brush is never a wise move.
I do not see most Lifers as what most would consider the “Deep State,” but they are certainly a part of it.
If a Lifer is threatened or even feels threatened to lose their job, pension, benefits, healthcare, etc and they have that family, mortgage, car payment, tuition, etc to consider…they may be just as easy as the Striver to “get on board” with whatever is needed.
Sometimes it’s simply to “look the other way,” lose paperwork, ignore a policy agenda from a (conservative) POTUS or his cabinet members, or even vote for a radical if it means securing your job.
In my personal opinion, truly cleaning out the Deep State would require a concerted effort to discern who the useful idiots, controlled, activists, etc are versus the truly nefarious ones who hatch the plots, schemes, or pressure campaigns to ensure the status quo of corruption and anti-American or non-America First objectives.
The Institutionalists
The Institutionalist class is where the Strivers and the Lifers meet, and these are the successful babies they produce (metaphorically).
From my viewing and looking at what has transpired over the past decade and further, these seem to be those Strivers who were willing to do anything to get ahead and found their ways near the top rungs of power within the USGOV.
As mentioned in the previous section, these are people who owe their entire platforms, allegiances, wealth, often family members’ wealth and positions, legacies, etc to the “status quo” that they have helped to mold and/or create or further.
These people care more about the status quo and the Institutions themselves than they do about the country or the people who make up the country. To a person like this, the Constitution is merely a speed bump and a POTUS is not allowed to get in the way of the Institutions doing what they see as best.
A phrase that often came up in the Ukraine Impeachment Hoax was the “interagency process,” with unelected bureaucrats from the intel community, National Security Council (NSC), ambassador & embassy network, think tank world, and others coming right out, in public & on the record, and saying that the Institutions held more power than POTUS and that he had no right to go against their decisions.
For anyone who understands how things are supposed to work in this country, that was outright laughably false with regard to the foundational documents that are supposed to be the working processes followed by the USGOV and its component parts.
However, the past decade has been a slap in the face for many who have realized there is a “way things are supposed to work” versus a “way things actually work” in DC and the US these days.
If you want to understand where much of these Institutions versus elected official-driven control of the USGOV went so far off of the rails, Sundance (@TheLastRefuge2 on X) has a great article about it on his Conservative Treehouse website.
Actually he’s written quite a few on this topic over the years, but the latest one is a great “intro/101” for those who haven’t been following this topic/change in the way the USGOV runs already:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/12/14/a-weaponized-continuity-of-government/
TL;DR - the Patriot Act, which had been written pre-9/11 and simply utilized that event to implement a 1984-style change from elected official controlled government to “interagency process” and Institution-controlled government, seems to be where much of this was codified.
These Institutionalists care more about the institutions than the USGOV itself, because in their minds, those Institutions ARE the USGOV. The will of the people be damned, it’s the Institutions and their “experts” who drive them that matter most (in their minds).
The human dynamics behind what creates these Institutionalists are impossible to know with certainty from the outside looking in, but there are enough examples of these people that we can make some fairly educated guesses and assumptions.
Some of these people spend their entire careers within the confines of one Institution. Others look to the general public as if they hop back and forth between the private and public sectors, but those of us who look closely at these things recognize that the “private sector” places they go are, in reality, merely arms of the USGOV with a private sector facade.
Remember the FBI SCIF (Secretive Compartmentalized Information Facility) that was found within the offices of one highly partisan DC law firm? Yeah, that’s just one example of how these things currently operate.
Some of them are on the polar opposite, as we will get into below, where the casual observer may recognize them as “private sector” people, not knowing that their specific business serves as a cutout or facade for Deep State tentacles into the US or global populace.
Have you heard about the rabidly partisan Hollywood producer/director who currently sits on several boards alongside a multitude of former CIA directors? Yeah, that’s just one example of how this side of that equation currently operates.
One can’t know from the outside looking in whether these people have truly been so “institutionalized” (a la the Shawshank Redemption usage of the term) that they truly believe the things they say in public regarding their motives and operations, or whether they know what they are doing is the polar opposite of the way things are supposed to work in this country (legally and Constitutionally).
Again, one would imagine based on their own view of the world that these people must know and understand that what they are doing is extra-Constitutional and the sum total of the actions of the Institutionalists has been a drastic net-negative for our nation as a whole.
But, we can’t know for certain from the outside.
It’s difficult to prove the motives or mental state of another from the outside, especially for someone whose entire life, livelihood, and those of their families come only at the benefit of the status quo and “interagency process” way of the current USGOV operations.
To be perfectly candid, it’s my personal belief that most of these people know how horribly corrupt their actions are. I’m still on the fence as to whether they have the mental and intellectual capacity or honesty to understand how incredibly damaging it has been to our nation and the world at large.
An excellent example of an (alleged) Institutionalist showing their stripes in our current day would be Thomas Manger, the current head of US Capitol Police (USCP), if one takes former USCP officer Tarik Johnson (and other firsthand reports) at his word.
The full report on the security failures that led to January 6th, and the coverups and lawlessness from the January 6th Committee that was just released via Barry Loudermilk and his House Subcommittee is linked below in the Institutions section.
It’s also worth placing here as well as a great juxtaposition of what Tarik has been telling us for years vs what the media & J6 Committee presented (narrative) vs what Loudermilk’s committee has now confirmed and laid bare for all:
So…who is Tarik Johnson, and what has he been telling us?
Here’s a clip of Tarik being interviewed by Tucker Carlson while Tucker was still at Fox:
https://x.com/greg_price11/status/1633280727016939520
You may remember the story but not the name: Tarik was the USCP officer who, when met with radio silence on J6, decided to evacuate the elected officials. Some of the protestors later gave him a MAGA hat, which he wore as a “peace symbol” when trying to deconflict tensions.
The media of course went wild with pics of him in the hat, and he was fired. Nobody ever explained why the radio relays were basically unmanned or unhelpful, which created a lot of confusion for USCP that day, but that’s just one of many unanswered questions of the day so far.
Tarik has been very vocal about several “choke points” who he sees as culprits behind how that day transpired, cover up artists in the years since, and Institutionalists within the USCP who have prevented transparency at every turn.
As a reminder, the J6 Committee refused to allow Steven Sund to testify, despite Sund being the head of the USCP on that day.
Both Tarik and Sund feel that the USCP officers were “set up” in multiple ways, and video that has now emerged from the day shows that many “line” USCP officers felt the same way.
Here’s Sund speaking with Tucker about it:
While we’ve had numerous Republicans and others promising that they would release all of the official video from the Capitol cameras from the day before and day of, an entire presidential administration has passed and we still don’t have nearly all of the video in the public domain.
Why not?
I don’t have firsthand knowledge of why Speaker Johnson or Barry Loudermilk haven’t been able to deliver on those promises, but Tarik has very publicly stated, in interviews, posts, tweets, and letters, that it is the current USCP head Manger who is preventing their release.
Why? What would be the point of keeping that hidden 4 years later?
The DOJ IG report that was released last week (that proved the presence and involvement of at least 26 FBI informants at or regarding J6) was another data point that sure makes it seem like there was a cover up (and illegal withholding of potential Brady/potentially exonerating evidence) to protect that Institution (and narrative).
https://oig.justice.gov/sites/default/files/reports/25-011_0.pdf
That report also dove deeply into the USCP officer who shot unarmed protestor Ashli Babbitt that day, as has a separate independent investigation by Glen Beck’s Blaze Media.
Those reports raise some very good questions about how Byrd was still on the force despite a lengthy record of disciplinary actions, and some financial windfalls that he seems to have come into post-J6, if the reporting is accurate.
From what Tarik has been saying, the USCP and Manger have been hiding, covering up, obfuscating, and simply “checking the box” on transparency investigations into that day to protect the USCP as an Institution, rather than to provide any actual transparency about what transpired that day.
Again, without first hand knowledge or understanding about the veracity of Tarik, the line USCP officers on video claiming they were set up, other videos that have since been released, and other subsequent data points, it’s not possible for us to say that Manger is 100% operating as an Institutionalist who cares more for protecting the status quo of the USCP and anyone who assisted with “funny business” that day than he does about transparency or fixing a broken system (that the USCP most certainly is, if those reports are accurate).
But from the outside perspective and what information we have publicly available, it sure does look that way.
The Controlled
Money or honey, the age old key to control over powerful people.
However, as is the purpose of this post, one must learn to step back from hyperbole if one wants to truly understand The Machine and its component parts.
When well-intentioned people see a politician or other “leader” make an otherwise nonsensical move, decision, or statement, the first reaction for many is to immediately assume that they are “controlled.”
That is certainly the case in some, if not most cases, but not all.
Again to the purpose of this entire post, if we want to truly understand what we’re up against, as we must if we seek to depose and prevent it from ever gaining hold over our country again, we must learn to identify and separate the component parts from those that are consciously working against the country’s best interest and those who are simply fooled/forced into their actions.
Some people are truly despicable and merely “want to watch the world burn.” Those people actually exist.
Some are the Strivers with no moral compass who are identified and used for nefarious ends.
Some are Lifers who simply “go along to get along” and don’t want to lose their jobs/pensions.
Some are Institutionalists who care more about their legacy or have been so institutionalized over time that they don’t view USGOV “service” as “country first” but rather legacy or largesse-first.
But then we come to the Controlled, those who may know that what they are doing is wrong, but who have been isolated and forced to act/work/vote/spend a certain way based on the age-old formula to control powerful people: Money (bribes) or honey (blackmail).
The average American has no clue as to just how much time, money, and effort the USGOV puts into entraping, framing, extorting, and blackmailing innocent Americans, but let me tell you, it is eye-opening.
We will get into this more deeply into the intel agency section, as they are at the crux of most of this, but for now let’s focus on how it’s used to create their desired end state for control rather than growing their own agencies' reasons for existing in the first place.
To give you the perspective of someone who has firsthand experience in these things, let’s go to another clip of that roundtable interview with Cernovich to hear his perspective on how some of these things are done:
Cerno on Epstein and hangers on used to frame/entrap
https://rumble.com/v47k0tr-sdny-went-easy-on-jefferey-epstein-he-got-a-slap-on-the-wrist.html
Sometimes a domestic or foreign intelligence cutout or agent/officer may offer you a bribe to vote a certain way or make a certain pronouncement. The corrupt may think this is a simple one-time transaction, but sometimes that simple act is then used for further blackmail and evidence of your corruption.
In some cases, this is even the “grooming” step of a public official, wherein they are already “in for a penny, in for a pound” and their career trajectory is allowed to continue, as are the bribes (or other exuberances) as long as they continue to “play ball.”
China has been excellent at this, to their credit.
The Chinese spy that got Eric Swalwell was simply one public instance of a very robust intelligence strategy that the CCP has used globally for a long time. They identify young Strivers that take public office, run assets against them in a “bet” that Striver will one take take a national public office with serious power, and some of them will pay off big time.
You don’t seriously believe that Dianne Feinstein didn’t know that her driver of 15 years was a CCP spy, did you?
As Tim Pool and Cerno point out in the interview above, some of you may remember that DOJ press conference in DC about the high-end prostitution ring that was busted and found with evidence of high profile figures from the political, business, military, and scientific worlds utilizing their services.
None of those names were ever made public, were they? Why do you think that was?
As Tucker Carlson has frequently pointed out, many of the powerful people in DC have terrible home lives, gross personal sexual fetishes, and otherwise immoral behaviors that don’t align with the public personas that they fraudulently present to the voting American electorate.
The CIA led by John Brennan during the Obama administration was caught spying on SCOTUS justices, Congress, the Senate, and journalists, as well as foreign leaders and dignitaries.
Yet nobody was held accountable in any way, at any level.
Why do you think that was?
A rational person may be of the mind that it’s likely because they found some especially incriminating things that were quite useful for shaping the decisions those elected or unelected yet powerful decision makers would make at some point.
Sure, coming to grips with that paints a pretty dark and bleak picture for the way that things operate in DC, but again we must come to terms with the way that things actually work versus the way they are supposed to.
We can choose the Pollyanna version of the world if we choose to look at it through rose colored glasses, but that’s not going to bring us any success in fixing that which has been broken.
The ugly truth > the beautiful lies that we have been told and that we tell ourselves to pretend that we live in an ordered and functioning society.
To fix things, we must confront those ugly truths.
The Contractors
It’s my (educated) belief that the “FBI agents provoked January 6” narrative has always been a red herring. Yes, the DOJ IG report just outed the lies and showed the nation that there were in fact dozens of Confidential Human Sources (CHSs or FBI informants) present in the groups and crowd that day - but in my personal opinion that’s just rubbing the surface.
Mike Benz has been on a public awakening tear over the past year or two to help Americans understand how the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) complex has been built and utilized by the USGOV to do and fund things that its nefarious actors know they aren’t legally allowed to do.
He’s also done a great service to the public by highlighting how ridiculous the NGO title is for orgs that are wholly or nearly wholly funded by US taxpayer dollars. If an organization is funded and directed by the USGOV - how in the world can it be credibly called “non-governmental?”
This framework has been used in multiple elements of statecraft domestically and globally, and Benz focuses mostly on its use in the censorship operations of the USGOV. It’s mostly used to (barely, credulously) get around the legal parameters of what the USGOV can and can’t legally do, but it’s also used for an element of plausible deniability.
This is one of the reasons, in my personal opinion, that many of these NGOs have either totally mundane names or those that are used to pretend that the org is doing something wholly different than what they are actually doing.
ANTIFA’s name makes it seem that the group is focused on “fighting fascism,” yet uses incredibly fascistic tactics in its real world operations.
And the media & other useful idiots point only at the name and claim “but they’re anti-fascist, look at the name!”
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a self-admitted arm of the CIA, that implements rent-a-riots and other orgs around the globe that astroturf and outright work towards the demise of legitimate populist and grassroots political movements (so…they fight against actual democracy).
The Open Society Foundation organization and its subgroups that are funded largely by George Soros, which somehow always seems to back and fund groups or people who push for clamped-down and tyrannical governmental structures (so…not open societies).
If you didn’t already know this, most of Soros’ groups are only funded by Soros in name. If you look closely, you’ll often find that a lot of their funding actually comes through US taxpayer-funded grants or other forms of payment in reality.
Just like these NGOs often give plausible deniability to those who fund and direct them, contractors of many sorts may be used at the behest of various government entities or actors to do nefarious deeds without paper trails or any sort of documentation that is susceptible to FOIA requests or Inspectors General (IGs).
These contractors may come through Private Intelligence Agencies (of which there are many), Private Military Contractors, or others. Many of the PIAs exclusively hire former Fed agents or officers, many of whom still have contacts, connections, and top cover from their former colleagues.
For those still looking through rose colored glasses, I agree: this is not how things are supposed to work.
Unfortunately, it is how they actually work.
There are many instances of former Feds doing despicable things in their private employment that the official Feds either refuse to investigate or merely give a “slap on the wrist” for. Sometimes this is because their colleagues decidedly go easy on them, and other times it’s because they’re actually operating at the behest and direction of the USGOV as cutouts but get caught.
If you understand how these things work, you understand how purposefully difficult it can be to unpack the nefarious USGOV funding streams versus the legitimate ones. An example from the Spygate operation helps to highlight this.
There is a department within the Pentagon called the Office of Net Assessments (ONA). This office is supposed to be like a “think tank” within the Pentagon, wherein they pay smart and knowledgeable people, as contractors, to write assessments of different things that can be used to inform decision makers.
In the subsequent investigations trying to figure out the details of the Spygate scheme (spies who were inserted to spy on the Trump 2016 campaign and presidency), it was discovered that one of the spies who was collecting HUMINT on multiple members of the Trump campaign had been receiving paychecks from ONA.
A closer investigation and interviews found that while this guy was being paid by ONA to write China-focused reports, the reports he was submitting were not only garbage-tier, but they were also plagiarized.
Based on those facts and others, it’s reasonable to assume that ONA was knowingly paying this guy to spy on the Trump campaign, while fraudulently citing his payments as being for report writing, which is what ONA is supposed to pay people to do.
They were only able to unravel this scheme because ONA is an official government entity, which is subject to USGOV investigations - when someone from the USGOV actually has to will to investigate these types of things, which is far less often than an honest, taxpaying American citizen would hope that they would.
When the USGOV wants plausible deniability for far more nefarious actions, like, say, hiring agents provocateurs to provoke a riot and disrupt elected Federal officials who are using the legally-mandated process to ask for more time to investigate election anomalies, hypothetically, they may go to an “off the books” and out of government method.
For another example of this cutout approach from the Russian Collusion Hoax scheme, Congressional investigators were never able to get their hands on the financial books of Fusion GPS.
It was Fusion that used “journalists” to run the propaganda & hoax at the behest of the Clinton campaign.
The owner of Fusion both briefed and debriefed the Russian plant who was used to drive the “Don Jr meeting with Russian agents at Trump Tower” hoax in the media, that resulted in him being forced to publicly testify about what was later found to be a total setup operation by Fusion GPS.
Despite that, because it was a private entity (cutout), the full accounting of operatives masquerading as journalists was never made fully public.
Whether through a domestic or foreign private company (intelligence or military contractor), private entities become far more difficult for the USGOV to demand documents and communications from.
They could, say, hypothetically, astroturf a red herring narrative that the agents provocateurs were Federal agents, knowing full well that they were actually private contractors paid as cutouts while the public and any investigatory body wasted years looking in the totally wrong direction.
That private entity could have a series of shell companies that it used to pay its contractors, and in many cases the Federal agencies, departments, or bureaus themselves have shell companies through which they pay the entities and their own informants, so the payments from the USGOV don’t come directly from a USGOV account.
Like the mafia and RICO cases, untangling these mazes of shell companies and payments becomes a marathon in its own right - as does trying to find ways to force the companies to turn over communications or documents, if any exist in the first place.
If someone wanted to dethrone and disempower the Deep State, truly, figuring out how to trace those shell companies and payments to their terminus would be a necessary move.
It’s contractors, not official (current) Federal employees who are tasked with the most nefarious of operations, in my personal opinion, so cutting that tentacle off would be a necessity.
The Intel Agencies, Their Media, and Their Money Makers
Just as the assumption of blackmail is the first reaction for many to a public official doing an inexplicable about face that goes against the values they’ve pretended to have when speaking to constituents, the Intel Agencies are typically assumed to be the ones behind blackmail operations.
While that reaction is likely often correct, an understanding of the real world requires acceptance that blackmail and bribes don’t only come at the behest of intelligence operatives or agencies.
I have friends who have run the private security operations for billionaires, and let me tell you, they are comprehensive, and they are always under threat from multiple angles (not just physical).
Likewise, corporate espionage is a real thing, as is the modern day “circular reporting” and “wrap up smear” that create an unholy alliance between the media, business, and intelligence worlds.
As such, using the term “presstitutes” for the media would be accurate more often than not in our modern understanding of the world, in more ways than most people understand.
From media operatives working on behalf of intel agencies to hedge funds and short sellers, state actors and NGOs, and of course, the FBI creating “circular reporting” using the media to print (false) reporting to give the FBI the “predicate” to launch an investigation into an American citizen when no real evidence exists.
This section alone could be enough to write entire books about. Thankfully, many have already done so, but most of those have focused only on singular elements of how these miscreants work together.
I will try to outline the broad strokes and provide “receipts” to those books, documentaries, articles, and others for those of you who wish to travel down specific rabbit holes to do so.
Let’s start by going down the path of how Marixsts and Communists infiltrated the intelligence agencies and bureaus of the Western world, and how they have corrupted or influenced otherwise good agencies and/or agents/officers.
The first step down this path is to understand how otherwise good men could be convinced to do extraordinarily despicable or nefarious things, even if their own hearts weren’t of the types to do these things to begin with.
Remember, both the foreign and domestic intelligence organizations in the US (CIA and FBI) used to recruit heavily from the place that highly capable and patriotic men were to be found post-WWII: the military.
That has now gone by the wayside, but even when those agencies and bureaus were focused on patriotism as a prerequisite, devious men had already figured out the program for how to groom and rewire good men to do terrible things.
I’ve suggested this book before in the Shitshow Macro Weekly Prep podcast for premium subscribers, but it's worth mentioning again here as it's a case study that has already been done on the process mentioned above.
https://www.amazon.com/Ordinary-Men-Reserve-Battalion-Solution/dp/0060995068
Ordinary Men is a case study into how men in the police units in Germany were selected, trained, and then groomed into committing absolute atrocities at the behest of their leaders during WWII.
This one is great because, unlike many depictions of the time period, it doesn’t begin with the operative assumption that they were all born to be evil incarnate.
The book starts with cataloging how normal they were at the start, how many of the leaders and a handful of the men refused to participate at each step, and how quickly the ones who felt pressured into taking part were quickly desensitized after their first atrocity, becoming wholly numb to it relatively quickly.
If you’d rather watch a far shorter version, Netflix has a documentary that covers it in about an hour:
https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81672035?s=a&trkid=13747225&trg=cp&vlang=en&clip=81684800
When we consider the sections above with the Strivers, Lifers, and others, in context with the lessons from Ordinary Men about how quickly humans can become desensitized to doing horrible things that are not in their nature, we may begin to understand how some men may start off with lily white souls when they begin down this path yet end with them as dark as midnight.
Infiltration of Intel
Going down another path of how the intel agencies went from their original charter of collecting intel to inform decision makers (CIA), or operating as the “world’s premier law enforcement body” (FBI), we must discuss the factor of the outright communists and marxists who have infiltrated Western intelligence, and at least in several cases have made it to very high positions in those organizations.
There are quite a few theories and even some books that travel down the roads and hypotheses that our nation’s first foreign intelligence service, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was itself infiltrated by the very adversaries that it was created to fight. As the OSS was the organization that became the CIA when it was decommissioned post-WWII, this is quite a worrisome thought.
Unfortunately, it’s not without merit.
Because nothing like it existed for the USA before the war, the OSS was created by a WWI hero and Medal of Honor recipient called “Wild” Bill Donovan. He’d had quite a few adventures and life paths after WWI, and was a lawyer working with and for Wall Street when WWII kicked off.
I have read and studied an awful lot about Donovan and the OSS, both out of personal curiosity for where the unit I served in “came from” (the OSS disbanded and became both the CIA and US Special Forces, with OSS leadership taking the helm of each).
I don’t think Donovan himself was one of the “original evils” that created what we now call the intel aspect of the Deep State, but I would certainly be willing to change my mind if presented with evidence to convince me otherwise.
As someone who has read many of these books, this is one of the best (in my opinion) of the OSS, it’s creation, and its operations (from a very high-level):
https://www.amazon.com/Wild-Bill-Donovan-Spymaster-Espionage/dp/B014I8QBX4
If this stuff interests you, two of my favorite video depictions of the OSS are a real life documentary called The Real Inglorious Bastards (about the guys on whom the movie was based):
https://www.amazon.com/Real-Inglorious-Bastards-Min-Sook/dp/B073DGGN1R
And the fictionalized version of another real-world OSS team that was sent to Czechoslovakia to kill a high ranking Nazi general, operation name Anthropoid:
https://www.amazon.com/Anthropoid-Cillian-Murphy/dp/B01JR2EIMC
I can nerd out on the true-blue hero OSS guys and ops all day every day, so let’s move on to the douchebags.
Along with the patriotic and nation-serving heroes mentioned above, the OSS unfortunately also took on some true shitburgers who found their way into the subsequent CIA and, in my and many others’ opinions, mucked things up royally.
Some of the worst seem to have been the Dulles brothers, one of whom the airport in Washington, DC is named after. Don’t take my word for it: read the accounting of their nefarious deeds in the book The Devil’s Chessboard by David Talbot.
https://www.amazon.com/Devils-Chessboard-Dulles-Americas-Government/dp/0062276174
Chessboard is far from the only book that outlines how Allen Dulles specifically may have been the start of the Deep State and unAmerican activities being orchestrated through the CIA, but it’s the most acclaimed and well-regarded one, so it’s a great starting point for those who still don’t know this aspect of the history of our intel agencies.
For the path that outlines the marxist and communist infiltration into our foreign and domestic spy services specifically, we have two other books that I’ve previously recommended in the Shitshow Macro Weekly Prep podcast weekly read sections.
First we have two books by Diana West, beginning with The Red Thread:
https://www.amazon.com/Red-Thread-Ideological-Anti-Trump-Conspiracy-ebook/dp/B07TQDQ2TV
And followed by her latest book, American Betrayal:
https://www.amazon.com/American-Betrayal-Assault-Nations-Character-ebook/dp/B008BU71BM
West is a journalist who has been reporting on this infiltration from the outside, so if you prefer it from someone who spent their life inside of the foreign and domestic intel agencies and has been trying to sound the alarm, we have Big Intel by J. Michael Waller:
https://www.amazon.com/Big-Intel-Heroes-State-Villains-ebook/dp/B0CB1QJJFJ
If this stuff is new to you, I’m sorry to report that people have been trying to raise the alarm on these aspects of our current foreign and domestic intel agencies for quite some time - but nobody with the power to do so, whether through oversight authorities or media platforms, wanted to do anything about it.
Perhaps it’s because legitimate journalists who dare to report on these things tend to end up committing “suicide” in ways that defy reality.
https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Alliance-Contras-Cocaine-Explosion/dp/1888363681
There seems to finally be a concerted effort and growing understanding of just how bad things have gotten, however, so there’s hope that change agents may finally be able to undo the damage that has been done since Dulles took the reins.
Media
If you don’t understand why the media is lumped into this section with dirty intel agencies/officers, boy do I have some bad news for you.
You may have heard the term Mockingbird Media thrown around, and if you don’t understand the provenance of that term, it comes from Operation Mockingbird, the CIA’s efforts to put assets and/or agents in charge of and staffing media organizations around the world - including in the US, where they aren’t supposed to operate.
People will call you a conspiracy theorist for saying that term out loud, but it only came into the public vernacular via the Church Committee hearings, during which aspects of this operation were made public, as well as in subsequent interviews.
Others will call you a conspiracy theorist for not taking the CIA at its word that the operation was shut down after the Church Committee hearings.
If you lived through the full-out media-driven assault of 2016-2024 (Russian Collusion Hoax through lockdowns and everything in between and since) and still believe that, then I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you for a great price.
Back to the RussiaGate and Fusion GPS “media” company mentioned above, there is a current journalist mockingly called “Fusion Ken” because he not only worked for Fusion GPS, but was fired from a well-known publication after getting caught sending his writings to the CIA for clearance in advance of publishing.
There was a world-famous German journalist who was a “household name” in that country who came out publicly after he’d retired to admit the CIA would often hand him articles that they had fully written and told him to publish them under his own name.
https://www.amazon.com/Journalists-Hire-How-Buys-News/dp/1944505474
They don’t always have to be quite so direct, however, and often utilize “glowies” and other tactics to disrupt, divert, or “flood the zone” when the public are getting too close to uncomfortable truths.
Here’s another excerpt from that interview with Tim Pool and Cerno where they describe how this works, and specific examples in which it has been done in recent times:
I’ve already provided plenty of homework for you in this section, and we’re still not finished so we’ll have to leave the media and its intel-owned presstitutes there.
Perhaps this is something that we can dedicate an entire post to at some point in the future, because there’s a large amount of content and real-world examples with which we can do so.
For now, we must move on because there’s still much to cover.
Finance
Do you remember above when I mentioned how “Wild” Bill Donovan had been a Wall Street lawyer when he approached the President to float the idea of setting up a foreign intelligence service for the USA (the OSS)?
Well, do you want to guess where Allen Dulles and his brother came from before they went into the OSS?
Yup, Wall Street lawyers.
Here’s something that people should understand as well: for all of the anger that the US population gets when they learn about the size of the “black budget” and how much the USGOV spends, there’s a whole other element of black budget funding that has nothing to do with direct USGOV funding.
There was a point in the Agency’s history when they realized that, in order to do truly clandestine operations, they would have to have funding sources that were so “off the books” that even foreign moles and agents who had penetrated the highest-clearance areas of the USGOV couldn’t find.
At least, that’s what they told people was the reason.
Given what we know now about many of the operations they’ve undertaken that wouldn’t be called legal or reasonable by any stretch of the imagination, I’m of the mind that the intent was always so they had the funding to do things that they knew nobody in their right minds and with any sense of morals would ever approve.
Do you know who’s really good at setting up complex, byzantine, and nearly impossible to untangle financial networks, schemes, and matrixes of shell companies upon shell companies?
Wall Street lawyers.
What was that quote that came out of the Hunter Biden laptop investigation when Congress was trying to decipher all of the shell companies used to move foreign bribes to the Biden family?
“Shell companies that would take 20 years to untangle?”
Do you remember the convoluted network of actions/payments/barters that were the Iran Contra scandal? Drugs come here so arms can go there so other arms and rebels can go there?
Or, another complex web of money and players that we’ve talked about before, The Octopus Murders:
https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81168725?s=a&trkid=13747225&trg=cp&vlang=en&clip=81763710
Have you ever wondered why it was that JP Morgan Chase de-banked Kanye West within days of him saying some very nasty comments, but they never de-banked Jeffrey Epstein despite his being convicted of child sex trafficking?
Or why the only accountability that ever came from The Panama Papers outlining how global leaders from governments around the world had secret offshore bank accounts was the journalist reporting them being mysteriously killed?
As we’ve mentioned above, FinCen terminals would give anyone in the government who really wanted the answers an ability to track every single penny that was moved through, in, or from the US banking system.
There’s a reason many high-profile criminals never see their bank accounts frozen, themselves de-banked, or the banks that serviced them face any real accountability.
In order to move illicit statecraft-level money, there has to be someone on the inside who allows the transactions to go through. It’s not likely, in any realm of the imagination, that those inside positions are low or even mid-level, at that.
If you want to know one of the highest-level examples of this, I’ll point you to another documentary that I’ve discussed in the Shitshow Macro Weekly podcasts, The Forecaster:
https://theforecaster-movie.com/
The documentary linked above is probably the one that I would most recommend if one wanted to truly understand how “it” all works.
There’s a lot to unpack, but at the highest level, Martin Armstrong is an economist who built a model called Socrates that has predicted every major world event for several decades, including ma
ssive financial moves of global markets.
This obviously brought him great success and a large portfolio of clients and money to manage. Everything was going just fine until he was asked to join an investment consortium who was investing in post-Soviet Russia.
Now, to understand that, you have to be immune to our current “Russia has always been the devil” media propaganda and remember that, in the post-Soviet years, there was an enormous amount of Western investment and investors who were pouring into Russia to take advantage of its wealth of resources and fledgling capitalistic economy.
Martin was invited to a dinner that was filled with representatives from the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and others, to show him that “the fix was in” and asking him to join their investments into Russia.
There was only one problem: his model (Socrates) told him that it was all about to go kaput, so he passed.
They laughed at him, which history has shown typically happens, until he was proven right and they all lost a ton of money - except for him, who had been wise enough to stay out, rigged game or not.
This caught the CIA’s attention, and they asked for the source code to his model. When he refused, they set about destroying his life, reputation, business, and even got a (likely corrupt) judge to lock him in prison and solitary confinement for years.
Seriously.
The documentary is really worth a watch, if for nothing more than to juxtapose the push for Western investment into post-Soviet Russia versus the current “Russia Russia Russia” sentiment that has become so pervasive in the years since the Hillary Clinton campaign and her media toadies ran the Russian Collusion Hoax.
If you want to see another version of this same juxtaposition from the political rather than financial angle, we have the movie Spinning Boris.
Again, this historical reality flies in the face of the latest “current thing” that paints Russia as our forever enemy, but the West was heavily invested in more than just resource extraction from Russia after the Berlin Wall and Soviet government fell.
The previous Shitshow Macro post & podcast The Eagle and the Bear goes into some of that history that we’re not supposed to remember, including one of our Founding Fathers (Ben Franklin) being pen pals with Catherine the Great, and how it was Russia (and Catherine) who directly threatened any foreign nation who dared get involved in our Revolutionary or Civil Wars.
https://open.substack.com/pub/robertplewis/p/shitshow-macro-issue-5-the-eagle
In more recent history, after the Soviet (commie) government fell, the fledgling democratic government and move towards capitalism began on very shaky ground. The populace there had spent so much time under the terror of the Marxists (which led to some of the greatest mass murders in man’s history, second only to Mao), that they were both unfamiliar with and untrusting of something new.
Boris Yeltsin was seen as “our guy” to keep Russia on that path, but he faced quite a few difficulties at home. When he ran for re-election, he had to run against literal communists who were trying to take back power through the newfound democratic process.
The movie Spinning Boris takes us back to that time period, and offers some insights into how even the White House and our intelligence agencies gave pushes to ensure that Boris stayed in office to see Russia through its transition period.
While it’s a dramatized version of events, by all accounts it is pretty historically accurate. And, selfishly, it has a few of my favorite actors in it, so it’s quite enjoyable from a purely entertainment perspective.
As a final homework assignment for you to better understand the statecraft-level money creation, leverage, and corruption, we have yet another book that I’ve recommended before, but we have to be mindful of the newcomers:
https://www.amazon.com/New-Confessions-Economic-Hit-Man/dp/1626566747
Many China hawks will call attention to the strategy by China, through it’s Belt and Road Initiative, to bribe, lobby, and otherwise entangle 3rd world nations into convoluted loans and contracts that they obviously will never be able to pay back, and always end up with those host nations forking over some sort of strategic asset.
While we use this to point the finger at China as the bad guy, do you want to know where they learned it?
Yes, they learned it from us.
If you read the book linked above, it’s a detailed explanation of how US statecraft works in tandem with the IMF, World Bank, USAID, and others to create those complex and convoluted “loan” deals that, if the book is accurate, are nothing more than a leverage point over corrupt nations.
And, again if the book is correct, how the “jackals” from the Agency (or others) are used to initiate a “change in leadership” if those corrupt officials or world leaders don’t respond to that leverage in the way that we want.
Do you know where the term, “Banana Republic” comes from?
That’s another good and easy bit of homework for you to end this section with.
The Institutions, Academia, Foundations, and NGOs
We mentioned the Institutionalists class of the Deep State above, so it’s important that we also dive into the Institutions themselves, and how many of them have been corrupted beyond repair.
There was an Italian Marxist named Antonio Gramsci who coined a strategy called The Long March Through the Institutions, in which he aspired to have socialist thinkers invade churches, charities, media, schools (at all levels), government, and other institutions.
He is known to many as the “Godfather of Cultural Marxism,” and his thought process and writing has been identified in some extremely worrisome places, including the US Department of Education.
https://fee.org/articles/antonio-gramsci-the-godfather-of-cultural-marxism/
Do you know who translated Gramsci’s writings from their original Italian into English for use in the USA?
“Mayor Pete” Buttigieg’s dad while he was at Notre Dame. Seriously.
While the books listed and linked in the Intel section above help to shine light on the specific infiltration of this caustic line of thinking into our agencies, their corruption of our other institutions needs to be known as well.
There’s a popular saying (by those who have recognized that this Long March has been underway through our institutions here in the US) that:
“Cultural Marxism will infect and hollow out your institution and wear it around like a skin suit, demanding that you pay it the same respect that it once deserved.”
Such is the purpose of this strategy.
Unserious, unintelligent, and unaccomplished lunatics will play “the long game” and rise to the top of these institutions, making subtle changes along the way until they get into leadership roles and those changes become not-so-subtle.
You may think that it wouldn’t be possible in a sane & rational world that lunatics could rise to the top of serious Institutions - but only if you don’t understand that government service and promotion is mostly based on time in service, and is not always as much about merit or proven ability.
By the time they get to the top, the “boiling pot” strategy makes the final radical changes less noticeable (in theory) than they would if they had been made all at once.
Because this strategy began in the US at Columbia University by way of the Frankfurt School (we’ve included those links in previous posts), it inserted sleeper cells into notable positions across our society. By starting in academia it not only began to filter into the education of future leaders, but also white papers, think tanks, media, studies, government, and the like.
Have you ever wondered why so many 60s-era radicals end up working in government and NGOs?
It’s The Long March in operation.
At the USGOV level, the Institutions have a layer of protection that is above them, known as the Inspectors General. These positions were not created to protect those institutions, but rather to keep them honest and “in check” via oversight, transparency, and accountability.
Back to the previous mantra, however, there is the “way things are supposed to work” and “the way that things actually work.”
If you’re one who has read many IG reports (I have) and followed the operations they were supposed to be providing transparency for, you know that they are, more often than not, nothing more than a “limited hangout” (getting close to the truth but not providing all or most of it), or total cover up operations.
While I don’t agree with everything in this article, the focus on the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CGIE) and IGs seems very on-point, based on the things that I’ve followed and source document IG investigations that I’ve poured through:
https://intelligencer.today/the-council-who-is-running-the-united-states-of-america/18/07/2024/8132/
For a very current example of where IGs seem to be involved in cover ups to protect the Institutions that they are supposed to offer accountability and oversight for/of, here again is Rep. Loudermilk’s just-released report (12.17.24) on the utter lawlessness of the January 6th Committee and the multitude of coverups and obfuscations that were done to present their preferred narrative:
Foundations
Foundations are an Institution in and of themselves, that on their face provide an impramateur of doing good. Most people understand only the very basics of a Foundation - an entity created solely to give money away for good causes.
As always, the “devil is in the details,” and “good” can be a very relative term.
Foundations are essentially a tax haven, a way for very wealthy people to give a certain amount of money away towards their preferred causes and to grow that money tax-free under the pretense that the interest or capital gains accrued are to continue the operations of giving money to “good” causes.
What many people don’t understand, although many others learned through RFJ Jr’s book The Real Anthony Fauci is that Foundations can, like any other entity, be hijacked and used for nefarious purposes.
https://www.amazon.com/Real-Anthony-Fauci-Democracy-Childrens/dp/1510766804
If you’ve not read that book yet…dear God, please do.
Once you’ve gone through it, you will have a far better understanding of how, if what the book purports is accurate, Foundations like those under the Bill Gates banner, may be used for intentions that are very, very different from what the general public believes Foundations to be used for.
Do you know the Big (Huge) Box store Ikea, the one that has well-priced but often difficult to assemble Swedish furniture (and awesome Swedish meatballs)?
One would imagine, with only a cursory understanding of the brand’s global presence and enormous stores everywhere, that it’s a purely for-profit enterprise.
IKEA is, however, owned by a Foundation. In 1982 the founder of IKEA transferred its ownership to the INGKA Foundation:
https://ikeafoundation.org/our-funding-and-governance/
If you have the money, it really can be a great vehicle to use. It can be used to own your home, cars, private jets, etc and grow its own investments tax free, as long as you give enough money away to qualify as a Foundation.
As the Gates Foundation examples outlined in RFK Jr's book outline, if accurate, they may also be used to “juice” your own, separate business ventures if your foundation is focused on working at the governmental and supra governmental levels to steer things in very specific directions.
Like any entity, Foundations also run the risk of being infiltrated and corrupted over time. For those of use who track the most damaging social constructs over the past decade, we have become quite familiar with seeing the Foundations that bear the names of the “men who built America” on the ones that are heavily invested in things that, to many “normies” seem to be tearing apart the very fabric of our nation.
If you dig into the movements seeking to trans the kids, force DEI into every company, run propaganda into every television and Hollywood production, remove merit from the hiring processes across America, put criminals back on the streets immediately, and many others, you will find a very small list of Foundations that are usually funding at least part of those operations at some level.
There are plenty of people who will tell you that those Foundations were corrupt and damaging since their inception, but I don’t know if that’s 100% accurate. What I do understand is human behavior, and that the spoiled trust fund children raised by absent industrialist and/or success-seeking parents will often set their lives on a track to give a huge middle finger to their parents (especially dad if he didn’t pay attention to them).
I also understand that frequently occurring pattern in other Institutions, wherein radical Marxists will take entry level positions at target Institutions, bide their time, for decades if needed, and infect their caustic thinking on their way up, hollowing out and destroying the initial purpose of the Institutions when they finally reach the top.
And, of course, hiring their “fellow travelers” all the way along their career trajectory.
NGOs
We’ve briefly mentioned the ridiculousness of labeling something that is wholly funded by and works at the direcion/behest of the government as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), but again, we have the way things are supposed to work versus the way they actually do.
This is another topic that can have entire books written about it, but there is one man who has been on his own crusade to ring this bell and blow this whistle, and he’s done an amazing job at it.
I don’t know of anyone who has a better understanding of, or who can better explain the destructive nature and nefarious purpose of many NGOs today than Mike Benz. His latest interview with Joe Rogan should be studied as the Rosetta Stone of nefarious NGOs for generations, so I’ll let you watch that to get up to speed on what this is.
There really is no better or more complete explanation than Mike’s that can be given:
Mike Benz on NGOs and the Censorship Regime
The Controlling & Controlled Corporates
When DEI began to be implemented across Main Street (companies) and its Race Marxism began to be implemented across all of our products, movies, advertisements, television shows, government agencies, and others, a lot of people began to (mistakenly) direct their ire at the companies themselves.
To be right up front about my feelings on this, I think boycotts work, I think their being implemented was a great tactical salvo to push back against this bullshit, and I think they were/are necessary when a company you spend your money with tries to do something that is decidedly against your personal value set.
That being said, there are a few things that we need to understand about the current dynamics of how/why these things were implemented across our society, how they were done so quickly and completely, and why many of the companies/CEOs themselves were not likely the ones choosing to implement these things of their own free will and accord.
To begin with, everyone answers to someone.
If you don’t understand the world of the CEO of a publicly-traded company (one that has stock available for purchase in the stock market), they serve on their face at the best of shareholders (that’s where their fiduciary responsibility lies), but in reality they are hired and fired by the Board of Directors of their company.
CEOs are typically fired (quickly) if their actions or inactions lead to a significant drop in their share price (stock value), but the board also chooses which CEOs to hire, and can fire a CEO if they don’t feel he or she is doing a good job.
In my very first and second posts here on Substack (just over a year ago - boy how time flies), I outlined in pretty great detail how the financial behemoths Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street had not only badly changed the market dynamics with passive investing, but also how they were using their clients’ shares to direct their own social policy agendas onto those companies that they owned (which made up roughly 90% of S&P 500 public companies):
Here’s the first post if you’ve not been with us since the start:
https://robertplewis.substack.com/p/post-1
And the second that goes into greater detail on some of those things:
https://open.substack.com/pub/robertplewis/p/shitshow-macro-issue-2-disequilibrium
Not to toot my own horn - but boy did some of those things that I was calling out a year ago hold up and be proven quite prescient.
As outlined in the posts linked above, even non-public companies faced the forced policy objectives of Wall Street through their need for funding. If you’ve run a business of any size, you know that there is often a need for liquidity (funding or financing) in most industries.
Whether it’s making payroll, buying new equipment/machinery, placing fulfillment orders, or any other standard business operations, businesses typically need a bank or merchant bank to provide liquidity until their customers pay (on the business side, many large orders are paid Net 30 (N30) to Net 90 (N90) unless you are a direct-to-customer operation, meaning that you aren’t paid immediately when things go out the door.
If the bank that is your sole source of surviving liquidity is also on board with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Black Lives Matter (BLM), or other progressive “NGOs” or Foundations that have gone all in on the same “social justice,” ESG, or DEI policies that Blackrock did, guess what?
Many companies have to “bend the knee” just to stay in business and survive.
So whether it’s board members demanding their CEO implement these policies or be fired, activist shareholders doing the same and threatening lawsuits linking “social justice” to fiduciary responsibility, or the banks that are supposed to be the lifeline of businesses withholding liquidity unless the clients “bend the knee,” this is how corporations and companies can be controlled from the outside to do things that may not be in their best interest, or even in the desired goals of the CEO.
And, of course, each of the “Controlling Corporates” has an army of lobbyists that can ensure USGOV regulations are implemented to codify the social justice desires of these progressive ideals, threatening massive fines, debanking, and other forms of government intrusion in their competitors who don’t want to “bend the knee.”
In some cases, these actions are taken merely to create a high barrier of entry via costs, regulations, and hiring practices that new entrant competitors can’t overcome to ever truly compete with them.
The Decision Makers
Do you know what the actual translation of the term “Soviet” means in English?
Committee.
I hate to break it to you, but as said above, there does not seem to be one single Dr. Evil that is behind the ills that currently plague our society on behalf of the various classes of Deep State actors who are outlined above.
The face value allure of a committee is that it’s supposed to bring the “best minds” together to tackle an issue that isn’t easily solved, or to work on very large scale problems that will require multiple lines of input and experience.
When dealing with nefarious or bureaucratic issues, however, more often than not the purpose of a committee seems to be purely a vehicle to ensure that no one individual is ever held responsible due to the “diffusion of responsibility.”
“It wasn’t my decision, it was voted on by the entire committee, you can’t blame me!”
When dealing with a committee that is composed of members who come from the highest echelons of power in any section of society - government, business, NGOs, Foundations, or all of the above - it also adds a sort of protection layer to the committee and its actions/decisions.
If any threats ever emerge to the members of the committee for its decisions or actions, the more powerful people who are involved, the more likely someone will be able to “solve the problem” to prevent any true accountability.
We see this in our government all of the time. House Committee investigations that never really get to the root of the thing they’re supposed to investigate. Committees that promise accountability, yet nobody is ever really held accountable.
It’s always blamed on “the other side of the aisle,” but the same story plays out no matter who is “in charge.”
At the macro, global, and supra governmental level, many of us are already familiar with the names, but are often afraid of being labeled a “conspiracy theorist” if we dare say them out loud or even ask why all of these terrible, societal fabric-ripping decisions tend to come from members of the same small groups.
Why was the WHO given so much power over the global lockdowns starting in 2021, despite being absolutely wrong on just about everything they said?
Why did they depend on data from a Gates Foundation-funded data scientist whose data has been shown to be shaky at best in the past, and whose forecasts were quickly shown to be wild miscalculations and vastly overblown?
Why do all of the world's political and business leaders tend to emerge from the World Economic Foundation (WEF) enclaves and introduce new ideas or legislation that seem to do more and more damage with each iteration?
Why was WEF founder Klaus seen with a bust of Lenin on his bookshelf in an interview?
Why was General Petraeus fired from his leadership position during GWOT but then brought into the Bilderberg Group meetings?
Why were Hillary and Obama running against each other in a presidential election cycle, only for Hillary to drop out immediately after both attended a Bilderberg enclave meeting?
What transpired there that would change her mind about something she obviously very much wanted?
What is really going on when all of those globally powerful people meet in the woods of Northern California for the annual Bohemian Grove enclaves?
Why don’t most Americans know about the Plaza Accords, deals struck at a post-WWII meeting to determine which economies would focus on imports (consumption - USA) versus exports (manufacturing - Germany, Japan)?
On the day that I’m finishing this up (12.18.24), a monstrosity spending bill was just dropped on US Congress members late Monday night to vote on today. The bill includes a veritable trillion dollar giveaway to ridiculous things that Americans have vocally said they don’t want, including within ongoing lawsuits (The Federalist v The Global Engagement Center (US State Department censorship arm)?
Several Republican members of the House have said that no Republican members were given any say or asked about their views on the things that were going into the bill - so how does a 1,500-page, trillion dollar spending bill get written with no input from the party that just won control of the House, Senate, and Executive Branch and then dropped into their laps for a vote?
Someone did the math, and the length of that spending bill versus time they had to read it meant that members would have to read more than 1 page per minute to read the entire thing before voting.
How does that happen?
By Committee, which, by another term, means it was done by Soviet.
Understanding this is one of the keystones to understanding “it.”
There is no one Dr. Evil - but there are many consortiums of Soviets who decide, through their Soviets (Committees) what actions the Deep State will take, through its component parts outlined above.
Doing so not only allows abdication & diffusion of authority/responsibility, but also brings enough power brokers into the equation to ensure that nobody will be held responsible or accountable if caught.
If they are caught, after all, it will be a Soviet from the CGIE (IGs), a Soviet from Congress (Committee), or a Soviet at the DOJ that decides if any investigation will be done, and if so, what its scope will be.
Fin
We stand at the precipice of a very interesting time, and quite possibly an inflection point for our great nation.
I’ve said many times in these posts and podcasts that I was seeing a significant shift within the social sentiment, and that The Era of the Great Pretending was coming to a close, as people were sick of the bullshit and lies.
The election seems to have proven that to be fairly accurate.
To pull out another quote that I’ve often given you in these posts and podcasts:
"If You Think They Are Going To Give You Your Country Back Without A Fight, You Are Sadly Mistaken"
-Steve Bannon
Rest assured, the cornered animal that is the Deep State will throw everything that it has, from all of the component parts listed above, at President Trump and his cabinet appointees (if and when they are confirmed).
They do not care if innocent Americans are harmed as collateral damage.
After all, the Soviet abdicates them of any responsibility or accountability.
The past several decades have proven that model for them, time and time again.
However, my hope is that now, as with many of the previous posts and podcasts, you have at least a better understanding of what we are dealing with, so that you may better recognize it when needed.
The Deep State is not one person, nor is it one single entity.
It is not one meeting nor consortium of nefarious actors.
It is not resigned to DC, or Langley (CIA), or Quantico (FBI), or Foggy Bottom (State Department), or Wall Street, or Switzerland (WEF), or Northern California (Bohemian Grove), or NYC (most media network HQs).
It is in all of those places, and many more.
A functioning Republic requires an enlightened populace, and any viable battle strategy requires understanding the enemy, their troop formations, their unit strength, their strengths/weaknesses, and their tactics.
All that I can do is present what information that I can, and hope that it helps as many as possible to be better informed about what we are truly up against, so that we may see things for what they are.
To take a line from my favorite cartoon and action figures of my childhood:
Do not go gently into that good night.
Rage, rage, against the dying of the Light.
I’m terrible at asking others for things, but…
It’s my intention to keep this platform free to read, but with the ability for people to donate if they are so inclined and feel the content here is worth their hard-earned dollars. These posts take quite a bit of time and research, but as I work it into my routine the flash-to-bang on new posts should reduce dramatically.
If you are so inclined and feel this is worth your time to subscribe for updates, share with others, or become a paid member, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Regardless, we’re all in this shitshow together. I’m going to do what I can to help you see the bigger picture and keep your eyes on the things that matter.
Until next time,
